KUPP Centre VR Escape Adventures is the first escape company in Sudbury that combines Virtual Reality with Escape Room. We have two rooms and each accommodate up to 6 players, making it an ideal place to gather with friends, family, or colleagues and challenge each other in fully immersive epic multiplayer battles or collaborative missions. What is Virtual Reality?
Virtual reality, or VR applications, is a simulated three-dimensional (3D) environment that immerses the user in a computer-generated environment letting users explore and interact with a virtual surrounding in a way that approximates reality, as it’s perceived through the users’ senses. This is achieved with the use of interactive devices such as a headset and two controllers that track your movements and let you interact with the environment around you.
Our immersive VR games let you step into the shoes of the game characters and embark on epic quests. Prepare to be blown away by the realism of our virtual reality experiences. Get ready to lose yourself in a world that feels incredibly real.
What does Free Roam mean?
Free Roam means being able to physically move around one of our arenas through a virtual video game.

VR ESCAPE ROOM GAMES
Free roam VR escape room games for up to 5 players which take approximately 35-45 minutes. Games are designed with an introduction and automated hints as well as a KUPP team member to assist if required.
Immerse yourself in 10 different VR escape rooms to solve puzzles just as you would in a traditional escape room. There may be objects to pick up and manipulate. There may be codes to decipher. Doors to unlock. When you solve one set of puzzles, you can be seamlessly transported into the next area – allowing the experience to stay fresh.

FAQs
What age is the playground suited for?
The playground equipment is designed for children between the ages of 3 & 12 years old. The toddler area is a great place for little ones between 0 & 3 years old.
Who is eligible to play?
Guests must be 8 years old or over to play at VR Escape Adventures. Due to the different difficulty levels and the themes (horror), please contact our staff to ensure the chosen games are suitable for your kids. Adult participation will be required if your party includes participants who are 13 years old or younger (adult participants must be the age of 18 or older and subject to admission charge). Guests under the age of 18 years old will require an adult to sign a waiver form to play.
Players under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to play and will not receive a refund or credit.
Players with vision in only one eye are able to play.
For safety reasons, anyone with the following conditions will not be permitted to play:
- Heavily pregnant
- Heart condition
- Epilepsy and similar seizure disorders
- Broken leg or arm
- Deaf or severe hearing loss
- Wheelchair users
Do you accept walk-ins or do I require a reservation?
Although we accept walk-ins, there is no absolute guarantee that you will be able to play if you walk in. Booking with us over the phone or online via our website in advance is the best way to guarantee your spot.
We recommend that you arrive 10 minutes in advance since we require everyone to sign a waiver form.
Will I walk into a wall or another player?
No, all the necessary technical precautions are put in place to prevent this from occurring, as long as you follow the instructions and warnings you receive from your headset.
Will I experience any motion sickness?
It is unlikely as every part of the system is designed to give you an immersive experience without any of the motion sickness. However, as with any motion-related entertainment, some people may be susceptible to unexpected side-effects during the VR session. If you feel unwell during the game, please let a member of our team know and we will be there to help you.
Can I play multiplayer VR games with my friends?
Yes, you can enjoy multiplayer (2 to 6 players) VR games with your friends! Experience immersive virtual worlds together and create memorable gaming sessions with our VR gaming setups.
What can I expect when playing VR?
You can immerse yourself in a variety of thrilling free-roaming virtual reality experiences where you can see and physically interact with everyone inside the virtual reality world, including:
VR Escape Games: Just as in traditional escape rooms, our 9 themes of VR escape rooms require players to complete some objective within a time limit. In groups of up to 6, players walk around in the same physical space and collaborate to solve problems.
VR Arena (arcade style games): 15 min each, in which the players can choose from a variety of games like fun arcade games, shooting games, archery games and interact with up to 6 players.
What if I wear glasses?
Our headsets feature slots to allow the average pair of eyewear to fit inside. To make the experience as smooth and as enjoyable as possible, we do recommend our guests to take off their glasses if they can or use contact lenses. If you are not sure about this please contact a KUPP Centre team member and they will be happy to help you.
What if I am late for my reservation?
If you are late for your reservation you will not be allotted any additional play time or receive a refund/credit.
